I found this on the MyBB official forums, and thought it was definitely a very interesting myBB theming project. I figured I'd share the link. It's a must read for all myBB users for sure.

Hello fellow members of the community,
I have begun work on designing the new version of Makestation, which will be powered by MyBB. After running a poll and asking members, it seems that the community is interested in the conversion, and I think that it will help us significantly as the community grows.
MyBB is much easier to use from an administrator's standpoint as well, so I expect that the new version of makestation will be ready within about one week or so. I don't have any information on downtime info yet, but I do not expect very much downtime when it comes time to release the new community update unless I should happen to run into any technical issues. Also, we will be seamlessly converting all users and posts to the new makestation, so it should be a pretty easy transition.
So, what are your suggestions for the upcoming makestation? Suggestions will definitely be given serious consideration, so feel free to express any concerns or ideas as they come up. I will be keeping you guys updated.

The most important folder in windows! What's in YOUR docs folder?
A detailed list of everything in the subfolders:
-Aconia: Code, etc for my project.
-Cartography: Obsolete folder.
-Eclipse: Java IDE
-Makestation: Obsolete folder. Was for icons and stuff I was experimenting with for Makestation. (And was close to revealing!)
-Minecraft: Launchers for Minecraft
--Amod: Src, MCP, etc. for MiscMods.
--Backups: World backups.
--Cheat pack: Mod.
--Forumcraft: Stuff relating to my site.
--Level: Obsolete folder.
--MCedit: Contains MCEdit, a python-based world editor.
--Modpack: Some pack of mods I found on the net.
--MVC: Minecraft Version Changer: Allows you to backgrade your Minecraft version, for whatever reasons.
--NBTExplorer: Contains NBTExplorer, an NBT editor (Minecraft's level.dats, the main file for levels, use the NBT structure)
--Server: Jars, world backups for my server
--TFC: Terrafirmacraft, a grand overhaul of Minecraft. Very much more realistic and fun.
-Other: Hmm, I wonder what could be in there?
-Other Games: Other games.
--Open Hexagon: A free game based off of Terry Cavanagh's Super Hexagon.
--Vreakout!!!: A free game based off of Terry Cavanagh's VVVVVV.
-Paradox Interactive: Contains data for Paradox games.
--Europa Universalis III: Contains data for EU3 (and mod zips I put there).
--Hearts of Iron III: Contains data for HOI3.
--MEIOU: A total conversion of EU3. So big it deserved its own folder (I created it manually).
--Victoria II: Contains data for Victoria II.
-Registry backups: Backups of the registry, for when I fix errors in CCleaner.
-SimCity 4: Contains data for SC4 (I think most of you know what is in here, so I won't go into any more detail.)
-Temp: Used for stuff I don't usually keep long and one off games.
-VVVVVV: Contains data for VVVVVV.
--Saves: Game saves.
--VTools: External tools helpful for level editing.
So that's about it! You don't have to include an outline if you don't want to!

Darth-Apple's not-so-personal blog |

As most of you know, I recently founded makestation as a place for users to share creative works and projects, and so far it has gone very well. Even with me out of town with no internet access for a week, this place has remained active, and so I've definitely been very excited about the progress. I figured that I would "celebrate" by starting a blog here. You may notice that there is now a forum board. I am planning to convert to myBB soon, and since MyBB doesn't have a user blogs plugin and I don't have time to write my own, this will help us adjust.
Anyway, next semester is going to be a very busy semester for me, but I'm expecting to meet a lot of new people and to have an awesome experience. I'm really looking forward to it, all things considered. Of course I'm also looking forward to being able to watch makestation grow into a larger community. I feel like I want makestation to become a community where members can be very open about their own interests, and I feel like we've been taking the right steps as a community. All things considered, all is going well.

Amod, for Minecraft |

Amod for Minecraft is going to be a collection of tweaks that make the game more fun (for me, at least). As MCP for Minecraft 1.6.1 has now been released, the mod is in full development. Here's the (very short!) current list of implemented or planned features (green = implemented; yellow = in progress; red = planned):
*Huge Mushrooms now generate in Forest and Swamp biomes
*NPC Villages no longer generate naturally; However, villager spawn eggs may now be found in spawner chests.
*Biomes generate based on temperature of any nearby biomes (no more deserts next to taigas, swamps, next to tundra.
Here's a small proof of concept release with the current progress:

This mod doesn't require either Forge or Modloader. It is for 1.6. Here's how to install mods with the new launcher: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nb8dd696jiY
