You may have noticed that makestation was out for the whole day today. This kind of downtime was completely unexpected and was out of our control. Our webhost got hacked due to a security exploit that was not even two hours into being publicized before a 15 year old kid took advantage of it and did a lot of damage. It was not the fault of our webhost, as other webhosts have been targeted by the same exploit.
It appears that no data is lost, as the owner of our webhost found a very recent backup for us. I will also assure you that daily database backups are made, so should something like this happen again, we won't lose anything important. I apologize for the inconvenience, and it is unlikely that something of this magnitude will happen again in the near future.

Do you think Google is too large? |

These days, google is pretty much the king of everything in the online world besides social networking. Youtube, adsense, android, the search engine, gmail, and many other popular services are powered by Google.
So the debate is on whether or not you feel Google is too large. Be sure to share your opinions and vote in the poll!

Personally, I feel like both are pretty bad when it comes to translating text, but out of the two, Google translate far outshines Babble fish. What's your opinion? Be sure to vote in the poll!
