US government shutdown? |

The government literally has just over four hours to pass a budget before it faces yet another shutdown. Due to obamacare being on the table this time, I doubt it will be a short shutdown personally.
What are your thoughts about this situation?

www.MyDaddyCool.com is an on-line forum community for fathers to share their tips on parenting and experiences as dads. It is also meant as a hang-out area - call it a man cave if you like...
Dads can start threads on topics they are interested in and contribute to threads started by other dads. MyDaddyCool is a group effort.
I invite you to share your tips, adventures, thrills and spills on your journey as dads. I hope you enjoy the forum. I look forward to hanging out on-line with fellow dads and picking up anything that helps us to be better fathers.
See you on line!
Julian 'Jules' Standen.

Anyone interested in becoming a blog publisher? |

The makestation blog was originally intended to be a hub for all kinds of content related to creative arts, particularly technical arts, graphics design, webmaster tools, etc... As many of you know, it has been a bit slow lately, and I'd like to turn things around a little and put some more useful content up on the blog. I believe it really has a lot of potential to become a nice touch for the community, and my goal is to bring it up to 2 posts/week on average.
If any of you guys here at Makestation are interested, feel free to submit a short "application" below! The only real requirement is the ability to write fairly decent posts that will be interesting for readers and fit our niche as a creative arts community, and if you meet those "criteria," you will qualify to submit your application.
Also, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
