iPhone vs. Android

#1
What is better for you?

You can turn to a number of companies if you buy one of the best smartphones, regardless of what you buy. However, one of the two popular mobile operating systems is guaranteed to run: iOS (if you choose an iPhone) or Android (if you choose something else).

Both platforms are pretty mature at this point and have been around for over a decade. This means that both have gathered extensive functions and there is very little that the other cannot. Still, each has its advantages, and there are reasons why you should choose one.
What do you choose?

I'm personally a big fan of Apple. I've used both, and Apple is simply far more stable and fine-tuned. Everything they have put together is very well-thought-out and high quality.

But I also use it because I have a Mac that I use as my daily computer. It's a bit of an older one (so is my iPhone), but I have to remember these were once the best things they had out. What I've got is good. The newer Apple products are prohibitively expensive, but some of the older ones are still perfectly fine and rather affordable, and they are still great.

Android has the advantage of being far less locked-down. You can generally do whatever you want with your phone, which is nice. There are times that I wish I could do something that I can't do. I've always used Android tablets for that reason, however. Android is for when I need flexibility. iPhone is for when I want something that just works.

Apple fans should not read on now, because despite the new iPhone 11, there are some reasons why the question Android vs. iOS remains easy to answer.
On the issue of Android vs. iOS has no influence on the new iPhone 11 after the latest Apple Keynote. At least there are enough reasons that speak very clearly for Google's operating system and against the well-known Apple version.

That is why Android also leaves the iPhone 11 behind
If you are an Apple fan, we will hardly be able to convince you. Some things related to comparing Android vs. However, iOS still speak for itself, and even the new iPhone 11 cannot (yet) change that. For example, there are six reasons why we prefer Android.

Android is just cheaper
Apple is boasting of making the highest profit margins on the smartphone market. This works, among other things, because the prices of iPhones often seem exaggeratedly high. While the iPhone 11 is comparatively cheap at 799 euros, the iPhone 11 Pro already costs an impressive 1149 euros, while the iPhone Pro Max up to 1649 euros.

If you buy an older device like the iPhone SE, you can get away very cheaply, but you also have to do without a lot of displays and other current standards. Really good and up-to-date Android devices, on the other hand, are available from € 250, according to the marketplace Smatphone.

I get so frustrated with my iPhone, but as far as I can tell, its decent enough to keep using. My net one I may buy a cheap Android phone just to try it out so I can see if my complaints are warranted.

The price point is a very good point. Apple charges quite a bit of money for their devices. Lately they seem to be cutting prices in their Macbook lineup pretty aggressively, so we will see if that carries over to their iPhone business.

As far as Android phones are concerned, LG makes some fantastic flagship devices for very good prices. I used to work at a cell phone company, and I was surprised that LG's didn't particularly sell well. Perhaps the marketing was the issue, but with LG, you can get a flagship-quality device for a good price. It's probably one of the best options right now in terms of value.

The phones are every bit as good as the Samsung lineup, but rather than topping out at $1000, they top out at $650 or so.

I bought the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus 1TB 3 months ago for 750 € Euro

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus (SM-G975F/DS 1TB) is a good Android phone with 2.7Ghz Octa-Core processor that allows run games and heavy applications.

An advantage of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus (SM-G975F/DS 1TB) is the possibility of using two mobile carriers, a Dual-SIM device with two SIM card slots.

After having used iPhone up to iPhone 5, Windows Phone (HTC One m8 and Lumia 950), and Android (Nokia 6.1 currently, will be buying a Pixel 4a as soon as I can), Android is definitely my preferred solution over iPhone.

Currently got an iPhone XR - I prefer the idea of Android but the hit-and-miss nature of the apps did put me off. I went iPhone -> Samsung -> iPhone again but I just love the semi-quality control over the apps that Apple provides. Controversial opinion, I know.

I'm very much in agreement with you. I love being able to install apps and not worrying about whether or not it's malware. (I still vet what I download of course, but it's nice to know that Apple has done due diligence).
