The AL Central is just horrible. The Indians won their last game to put them at .500, but they're hanging on by a thread.

Looks like Tampa moved up to 3rd in their division.

The Braves are on a 3 game losing streak and relinquished control of the division to the Phillies.

Congrats! That's a tough challenge in that division, I hope they keep it up!

Rays on a 4-game skid to drop back below .500

Braves are hanging out at .593 and still in the lead of the NL East, so that's good news.

yes its been a very up and down season for the rays so far..

although the rays did win last night, the last 10 games or so they have really taken another plunge
( 30 -35).. so now a larger climb to get back to .500 of curse

Braves 1.5 games outside of 1st in the NL East.

The Red Sox are shaping up as the best team so far, with the Yankees not far behind.

The Rays are doing a great job of hanging in there over .500.

I think if you consider the Rays payroll, and there roster, we are having a very good season so far

52- 50 so far , so still hanging over .500 a bit..

The braves are doing quite well also my friend !

@Brian: Very true! Hidden performance figures into that dollar. The Yankees perform considerably worse per dollar than anyone else.

@Thomas: Was very surprised for them to fire their manager midway, but I guess it was a long time coming.

all i can say is the sf giants suck this year. still no hope of getting to playoffs/world series. i say to self, they each make millions of dollars but still cant catch a ball or hit a ball properly. this year they have more faults than last year -or it could be same who knows. they need fresh blood, they need younger guys with zest and motivation, replace the aging set

Just a quick update on the Rays...
Some times has passed since my last posting in here, but rays are still 2 games , since my last posting ( 63-61) LOL
So not much change regarding them for the past couple weeks or so ....
