The 2018 baseball season is underway!

Houston, Boston, and Pittsburgh all getting off to strong starts.

Everyone has gotten the first win out of the way, but there are a lot of teams that still need a lot of work.
ya, my rays are off to a poor start this this year at 1-5
But i really dont start getting into it seriously until your hockey team is out of the playoffs

Tongue Their one win was a throttling of the Yankees though. I will take that any day.

I'm usually in it early, then lose interest as the Braves fade from playoff contention.

Ya, back in the old says .. I used to listen to just about every game, alone with a lot of pre and post game shows..
Like you said, just not involved in baseball to that kinda level any more..
The rays finally broke there long losing streak this afternoon ( barely ).. , in a 5-4 squeaker against the White Sox,
to bust there 8 - game losing skid ..
Yeah, my Braves are still .600, so there's a decent chance of starting off well.
ok thats not a bad start for your Braves..
also the rays won again this afternoon, so bucking a winning streak now of 2 !!
and so there 3-8..

Yeah! Here's to hoping they catch up by the end of the year and finish ahead of the Yanks and Sox.
thanks guardian Smile

well our short winning streak ended up at 2 games as we lost yesterday 2-1
so were 3-9 so far. but as you know still a long ways to go !!
This is gold:

Boston Red Sox reliever Joe Kelly was suspended six games, and New York Yankees designated hitter Tyler Austin was suspended five games by Major League Baseball for their roles in a bench-clearing brawl Wednesday night.

Kelly and Austin were fined, too, but the amounts weren't immediately known. Both players will appeal their suspensions.

Six other players and coaches were punished for their roles in the brawl, including Red Sox manager Alex Cora, Yankees third-base coach Phil Nevin, pitcher CC Sabathia of the Yankees and shortstop Xander Bogaerts, infielder Marco Hernandez and second baseman Dustin Pedroia of the Red Sox.

Heh, ya that sounded wild this early in the season for one of those Smile

Meanwhile the rays are back in action today after there day off yestedray..
guardian,

the rays are 3-10 now and we play at 6 pm today against the phillies..
They need to pick it up. I don't want them finishing last in that division. Prefer 1st.

Braves are in 2nd in theirs at 8-5.
ya the rays got pasted pretty good t0night by the phillies, 9-4,
So drops us back further to 3- 11
Not a great start. Sad
the rays continue to flounder, Guardian

after todays loss to the phillies we now drop to 3-12

which is the worst start after 15 games in franchise history Smile
Wow, yeah, that's a pretty horrid start. Sad
Cards ftw
