What OS does your VPS or dedicated server run? Why does it?

Mine has Ubuntu Server 13.10. While I don't like the choices Canonical has made with Ubuntu recently, they make a nice server OS (widely used, software somewhat up-to-date, plus I love Upstart cause it's so much easier to code with than initscripts.)

They seem pretty unprofessional at first glance, but there is always a certain feel about forums on free hosts that is a bit harder to replicate on paid hosting, at least in my experience. I personally like the simplicity of free forum hosting, although I of course strongly recommend being selective about which hosts you choose to consider.

Anyway, is free forum hosting something you have ever considered? If so, why?

Personally, I love applebees. Their food has really improved a lot over the past few years.

Most people in America generally celebrate Christmas. Personally, I am among those as well, although I do have to admit that the over-commercialization of it does get a bit old after a while.

Anyway, what is your stance on Christmas? Do you celebrate it?

Personally, I'm not too much of a sports guy, beyond watching a few big football games and keeping up with some college football.

What do you think about the brony fandom? Are you for or against it?

It's an Ohio-based anime club that talks about and watches anime, plays videogames (including our Team Fortress 2 server), and more. A convention over in Ohio is also planned by 2015. The site is in beta but feel free to check it out.

I've been watching undercover boss quite a bit lately. It's an interesting show, but the one thing I don't understand is how the general public doesn't recognize their whole employee competition for reality show thing. To me, that's a bright flag that undercover boss is going on. How do they pull it off? I don't know.

Either way, it's a great show. Anyone else been keeping up with it?

So I recently discovered spotify, a music streaming service. I've really liked it so far, although I don't plan on heavily using it because I also like supporting artists by purchasing their music. (Plus I tend to listen to music on a CD or MP3 player instead of a PC anyway. )

Either way, it does seem like an interesting service. Anyone else here use spotify?
