How often do you back up your database? |

For us, we've only ever needed to use a database backup twice in our history, but you can never be too safe. Even losing a week's worth of content would be disappointing. I used to do monthly backups, but I now do them pretty much twice a week. File backups are usually once every six months (they don't change very much at all).
How often is pretty much acceptable to do a database backup? Have you ever had to use one before? Curious as to what other site owners and administrators use as their general schedule for these.

How do you handle stress? |

My life has gotten increasingly stressful these past couple of years. I completed a two year program of College at my nearby Community College several years back. Took a couple years off, saved up as much money as possible, and went back. After changing my major, along with the hurricane (and now the coronavirus), my studies have dragged on longer than I expected. Savings ran dry paying for semester after semester, and now I'm working two jobs (and a third super-part time) and in school full time to try to get it finished off.
Communities like this one (and a number of other forums) are a stress-reliever of sorts for me. Outside of that, I try to stay in good shape physically, do my best to eat well, have a consistent schedule throughout the day, and try various supplements (L-theanine, CBD oil, and so forth) to help reduce the stress. In any case, you get used to it after a while. I know that there are people here who have much more stress in their lives than I do here. You learn and roll with it after a while.
And of course, as you get older, it only gets worse!
How do you manage stress in your life?

Spambot "Harvester Killer" |

I saw this today. It's honestly a very neat idea. It basically traps spambots into an infinite loop of reloading the page to fill their database with bogus email addresses. Assuming it works (and xrumer isn't configured to not point to this website anymore), it's a genius idea.
As such, I've put a link to it here. Anyone heard of this (or this idea) before?
