so I just re-installed ubuntu using ubuntu mini over my previous linux setup and while I've been poking around with window managers I have to say the latest GNOME looks nice.

yeah I found it while poking around for a good lunar surface wallpaper for my linux side lol.

Ubuntu 18.04 is nice though, very clean very simple, and I didn't have to install ANY of my hardware XD just updated to the latest nvidia drivers and nothing else Tongue

I have an ultra wide monitor (being able to view your output while coding is fun), and I like to hide my icons.

My desktop is pretty boring lol.

Believe it or not, it's actually one of the smaller ultra wides. I wanted to get a slightly more expensive (and larger!) monitor but I would probably go blind.

Do you prefer a wider screen over 2 screens? I prefer 2 screens as I can section them off, have 1 for coding and another for live preview etc.. Also the ability to change their angles is a plus. I am looking at getting a 4K monitor which will probably mean I will have to go down to 1 screen due to limited funds. Tongue
