I have to admit, I've never had a problem with the concept of targeted ads. In practice, they seem to do a pretty mediocre job (they only show things that are vaguely related to what I'd be interested in), but at least they're a little more relevant to me than untargeted ads would be . (And I am happy to keep my ad-blocker off on sites that advertise responsibly - and don't shove too many ads in my face or anything obtrusive like that: my favourite sites could certainly use the support!)

Still, Facebook getting involved in an antitrust suit? That's just the pot calling the kettle black as far as I'm concerned.
