Windows 10

#1
Microsoft apparently announced their development preview roadmap for what will be called Windows 10 recently. Of course, as rumored, the start menu is back, but they've made some interesting improvements that people will probably love if they weren't particularly happy with Windows 8 or 8.1

From the looks of it, the development preview will be free. Anyone interested in testing this? I know I sure will be. Tongue

This is too good an opportunity to pass up. If Windows 10 is the beginning of a new computing era, I want to witness the beginning of the beginning.

Haha same here. I thought it was a joke at first. If Microsoft is serious, they really are listening to their users a lot more than they have in the past. Tongue

I think they slowly realized what was happening, and might (fingers crossed) do a better job of listening to their consumers, because they have the power, technology, and knowledge to continue to make the best OS even better.

I'm personally not a windows user, but I'm kinda looking forward to this. I just hope Ubuntu doesn't go under so I can keep using Linux. (I have always loved Ubuntu, and will continue to be a proud Ubuntu user so long as they don't mess up this whole Mir display server thing Tongue)
