Everytime I turn on the news these days, I feel like I see something else that's very left field from this artist. I think it's a shame because she wasn't like that at all back in the day, but things are obviously different now.

She was born to be the controversial type so as she says "she's just being Miley". It was difficult for most people to see because she had to be censored when she was working with Disney and she was also too young.

And she is, obviously, in some ways feeding off everyone's obsession too. In all honestly I like her, because her antics intrigue me. It's like watching a movie. It seems like she just hasn't had the chance to be herself, but now she's taking all the freedom without the responsibility.

To me, it seems like she's trying to show who she isn't rather than showing who she is. Maybe that's just my perspective, but considering the hannah montana days, it's almost hard to blame her.

I still very much feel she's taken it a bit too far, however. She has the sales to speak of in terms of her music and popularity, but she is about one of the most taboo popular artists around right now.
