I'm thinking about switching from Fedora to Linux Mint. Fedora is nice, but there are some things I don't really like about it as well.
Is Linux Mint any good? Should I give it a try?

I usually recommend linux mint to people who haven't used linux before, the interface is fairly familiar while also being easy to use for daily tasks.
and the command line is easy to get to as well

iam using linux off and on, but only the live version. its saved on the usb. its linux peppermint OS. i find peppermint to be very user friendly, more than linux mint or ubuntu flavors. try peppermint!
