Need your help! APR downpipe exhaust

#1
Hey guys, I already have my Audi S6 Performance at 726 hp, and I also have an APR exhaust (Made in USA) installed. I registered all the modifications, the law here is very strict, including the APR exhaust, now it would still have the downpipes, these are the pipes with catalytic converters that run from the 2 turbos down to the X-pipe or center pipe. Unfortunately, APR has stopped the production of the downpipes (I sent an email to America for the mail traffic.

Hi Andreas,
Thank you for reaching out to us. We have discontinued all downpipes and stage 2 for downpipe cars, unfortunately there are no more left and production has been stopped for some months now.

Best regards,

I'm going to give you the advice I got regarding stuff like this for my jeep.

with cars where stuff becomes not available, either find a used set or find a way to make, or someone who can fabricate the part.

it sucks but it just happens sometimes unfortunately.

I did do a thorough search and not even Ebay has them and they look to be a special order thing here in the states.

Sucks they stopped making them. Definitely have to find them secondhand. No other manufacturers make similar?

Surprised to see aftermarket parts manufactured in Opelika. Things I never knew. Tongue

There are also other manufacturers, but APR gives a lifetime guarantee, and is also made of super material. The tube is made of stainless steel T304 and completely welded. As already written above, I installed the entire exhaust system from T304, but supposedly there are still dealers in mainly America who still have 9 sets of downpipes in stock. Unfortunately I can't find one

Good morning, I have now solved the problem and found a German company that manufactures the 76mm downpipes from stainless steel with the designation T304 and welded them completely. Handmade, then I have them coated with ceramic heat because of the heat radiation in the engine compartment, so I get a lower exhaust gas temperature on the two turbos and protect them or get even more power due to the higher density of the air due to the lower temperature
