I watched it! Enjoyable race. I think I still prefer IndyCar over F1 in terms of excitement. I love Red Bull Ring as a track though so I'll always watch a race there. Same with Spa, Silverstone, and Suzuka.

Good morning, yes I saw the race. Too bad that the race management destroyed everything in Formula 1, punishments such as Hammilton got, are absolute nonsense. If two touch each other during a fight in the race, it's just that, and both are to blame. But the young generation like Albon, Verstappen are such small children, ... they distribute, but cannot take it

no no, not normally, only because of Corona there are 2 races, since the teams are already there and investigating etc

For the sake of efficiency. Got it.

Well, the qualifying session for the second race took place today - and, it was a little bit chaotic. It was delayed (and almost cancelled) due to rain - but, they got out of the garages in the end.
Hamilton put in a tremendous lap to take pole position, though: he was 1.2 seconds quicker than anybody else !

Just concluded. Lewis Hamilton wins the Styrian Grand Prix. Bottas takes 2nd, and Verstappen finishes 3rd.
Ferrari took themselves out in a Lap 1 collision.

Yeah, it was a bit more sedate than the previous race, but it had its moments.
Poor Ferrari, though: it was Brazil 2019 all over again . I'm honestly wondering if Vettel will even see out the season.
Next race is in Hungary. Looking forward to it!

Lewis Hamilton dominates to win the Hungarian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen somehow overcomes a crash making his way to the starting grid to finish 2nd. Valtteri Bottas takes 3rd.

Yeah, it was nice to see Verstappen recovering from that! Other than that, not the most eventful of races, TBH.
As for Racing Point, they showed a lot of speed in qualifying! Couldn't capitalise on it in the race, though: they always seem to have issues on Sunday .

It was more exciting before-hand. Verstappen crashes... HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN!? Will they get him fixed up before the race starts... YES! Crazy stuff.
Same for Williams. They were primed for a breakout event... then fell back into old habits.
I like Hamilton, but his domination makes the races kinda boring. This one was more along the lines of how many cars are going to be able to stay on the lead lap before he finishes?

Yeah, I agree on all counts. I like Hamilton, but I prefer to see him winning by fighting and edging it out, rather than simply dominating because he has a rocket ship.
And, it is a real shame about Williams. They've shown more promise this year than last year - but, they've struggled to convert it into results .

WOW. An insane Italian Grand Prix. Hamilton took a huge lead early, but a massive penalty during a caution put him at the back of the field. He worked his way back into 7th. Ferrari retired both vehicles (Leclerc accident), Verstappen retired. Bottas struggled all day.
Pierre Gasly gets his first win! Sainz and Stroll finish the podium.
Crazy, unique day. Something that's refreshing to see.

Indeed, that was absolutely insane: it was probably the best race I've seen for a long time, especially in terms of the result.
Congrats to Gasly. I feared that his demotion from Red Bull might destroy his confidence - but instead, he's rebounded from it in spectacular style. Surely Red Bull have to consider re-promoting him for next year - especially if Albon continues to struggle? (Like Gasly, I reckon Albon was promoted to Red Bull before he was ready for it )
As for Ferrari, that was awful. I keep wondering how things could get any worse for them - but, surely they've hit rock bottom now???
