Things have progressed to the point where it is entirely possible. I still have a laptop but have already decided to get a desktop the next time I get a new computer. For anything I needed the laptop for, I can now do on a tablet or even a smartphone. If everyone goes this way, or the cyberdecks that Spook loves, then the are definitely on the way out.

eh I think I'll stick with my IBM W500 laptop and my cyberdeck when I finish it... the desktop I have now is a beast so for gaming it really can't be beat... especially for touch screen stuff lol. 23" touch screen for the win!  Cool
