I think it doesn't look quite right. And what is there isn't super useful, to me, all the time.
Maybe with some improvements down the line, it could work.

If the sidebar is removed, the prostats thing will be added to the footer again, so I think it will balance out to some degree. I personally think the sidebar works better for its purpose than prostats does, but prostats also looks nicer (in my opinion).
