oh I wouldn't worry about adobe... here's the problem. Nobody likes software as a service. a lot of people use it because that's what they were taught in institutions. but I can confirm for a fact that a lot of smaller places like community centers and the like are offering photo editing classes using... I know because that's what my sister learned to use and I've seen it a few times around here.
