Miscmods 1.0.0 is here! This release will still be called Amod 0.4.0 internally. Here's a full list of features inherited from Amod:

-Inherited these features from the now non-existant Aco's Mod:
-Forest and Swamp Biomes now contain huge mushrooms
-Better interaction between mobs; Spiders are now attacked by the rest of the hostiles.
-Added three new world types:
-Mooshroomia: Infinite Mushroom Biome.
-Tropical: Only Jungle, Swamp, and Desert biomes.
-Polar: Only Taiga and Tundra biomes.
-Stone tools now require Smooth Stone, instead of Cobblestone
-Breeding mooshrooms has a chance of giving you a normal cow.
-Mycelium will slowly overtake any neighbouring grass in Mushroom Islands, and vice versa in plains.
-Made fire faster, better, stronger.
-Added the ability to craft mossy cobblestone and mossy stone brick. (Using vines)
-Added tree spiders which will spawn in large trees.
-Added a 'hell' world type, which only has the biomes Nether and Desert
-Added Obsidian Arrows, which do 3.0x times the damage of flint-based arrows, but, are not affected by enchantments.
-"Fixed" giants, gave them the zombie's attributes, made them spawnable ONLY in creative.

This update was a total rewrite of Amod, and in turn, has no new features (yet!). I would like if you do happen to use this mod, try to report bugs on Forumcraft (acomines.icyboards.net). Or pm them here.

The Mooshroomia World type sometimes spawns you in an island in an ocean.
In creative mode, if you obsidian arrows in your inventory, instead of firing one type of arrow, the bow will fire both arrow types at the same time.
Giants move waaaaaaaaaaay too fast.

Patch 1.0.1 contains these fixes:
-Added a crafting recipe for Obsidian Arrows.
-Tweaked giant AI a bit.
-Basic framework for SMP support implemented.
