 I don't have that yet, but I do have the original, and it is indeed a great transport sandbox game. (The railways and road vehicles are very useful, and the ships have some niche uses, but unfortunately, I've found the planes to be pretty much useless  )

Things are roughly the same, but the maps now just seem so much more beautiful than before. A little easier to manage lines with multiple vehicles, etc. Seems harder than before (though I've been trying on hard-mode).

Sounds good to me  . 

What are your thoughts on the cargo system, then (where each city has two preferred cargo types)? I know a lot of fans of the games didn't like that.
