Regarding the cost, I said the same. I swore up and down for years. And then a buddy of mine sold his used 2012 for $600. These 2012 models may be old, but man, do they still pack a punch. They are surprisingly fast not because of the hardware, but because of Mac OS. It's so much, more... lightweight on the system. I ran with it and I haven't looked back.

Nowdays you can get 2012 models for less than what I paid, and you can get one that's brand new for about $800 (or less sometimes) if you are smart and know where to look for good deals.

Then again you're probably good at making Hackintoshes so it's probably no need for you anyhow. Tongue Finna
