I've been trying to get an appointment for my first shot, but the only ones available when I look are really far away and on days I work, I nearly had one last week but it vanished right as I was going to push the button to schedule it.
The appointment was on the other side of the state over 2 hours of a drive down in pueblo but if it meant getting my covid shot? Yeah I was willing.

I haven't had the chance yet (they aren't being provided to my age group yet). However, I do intend to get it when I'm able to.

So I found a problem in how companies like walgreens, king soopers, walmart, etc are distributing the shot.
And I wouldn't have thought about it if darth apple hadn't told me about the problem with low income american citizens and their ability to vote given many don't have a form of id. You need one to get a covid 19 vaccines. Now granted I'm missing mine because my wallet took a walk and am getting that rectified tomorrow, but this seems like a pretty big oversight given the virus is hitting minorities which are typically in this situation the hardest. Hopefully there is some plan for this, in the meantime I'm hoping to get my first vaccination next week.

I have to register with my local medical centre, and I need two forms of ID in order to do that. (Fortunately, I do have two forms of ID, but I'm not sure if everybody will!) I'm not against the principle of requiring ID to do stuff - but, I would like to see some sort of assistance for those who can't afford it.

I've already had both doses of the vaccine back in April. My state (in the USA) was one of the first to open it to everyone and I got the vaccine from one of the megasites in my city. I got a mild fever after both of them, but I don't mind fever or soreness that much, so I wasn't too bothered, although I didn't work after either shot.
I agree that every barrier that the government puts in the way of getting vaccinated, even if they later remove it, is a harm to how many people get it. I also think every time the government lies about something harms how many people want to get it, and it's a shame that they have done both quite a bit.

Good morning everyone. I was vaccinated against Covid 19 yesterday with Pfizer. Why my decision was made like this: The restrictions without vaccination (therapies with Ben would have been canceled) plus no trips abroad without quarantine ... and that is not possible. So we decided to vaccinate. We didn't want an Astra Zenica, that's why we used the trick: If you register for the first vaccination, you can see the date for the follow-up vaccination. If the follow-up vaccination is 4-5 weeks, then it is the vaccine: Moderna or Pfizer, if the follow-up vaccination is 7-9 weeks later then Astra Zenica. So we have been looking for a vaccination center that corresponds to Moderna or Pfizer for so long and it worked out perfectly!

I've had both vaccination shots for a couple months now, I don't see what all the hubbub is about, the people who are resisting this are either doing it just because or stupid.

Great of you, but don't want any discussion for / against. Everyone should decide for themselves for or against. My wife, my two big children (13 and 15 years old, have already been vaccinated twice, only Ben may not be vaccinated, he's only 7 years old. Unfortunately, the new variant of the virus is even more infectious, I hope Ben stays healthy and free, and A vaccine is being developed for children, and the rate of infection among children and toddlers is on the rise, and the disease is still extremely severe

Well, I have some good news.
My second dose was originally booked for 29th August. However, I was able to have it brought forward to 7th August... so, less than two weeks to go before I join the fully vaccinated club !

@Kyng that's great to hear! as a dual vaccinated person, I can tell you that it's worth it, if only for the peace of mind.
