My life has gotten increasingly stressful these past couple of years. I completed a two year program of College at my nearby Community College several years back. Took a couple years off, saved up as much money as possible, and went back. After changing my major, along with the hurricane (and now the coronavirus), my studies have dragged on longer than I expected. Savings ran dry paying for semester after semester, and now I'm working two jobs (and a third super-part time) and in school full time to try to get it finished off.
Communities like this one (and a number of other forums) are a stress-reliever of sorts for me. Outside of that, I try to stay in good shape physically, do my best to eat well, have a consistent schedule throughout the day, and try various supplements (L-theanine, CBD oil, and so forth) to help reduce the stress. In any case, you get used to it after a while. I know that there are people here who have much more stress in their lives than I do here. You learn and roll with it after a while.
And of course, as you get older, it only gets worse!
How do you manage stress in your life?

What's stress? Never heard of it.
Honestly, a unintended perk of having a rough childhood is that I don't experience stress the same way as other people. I am sort of emotionally dead in a way, and it makes me realize that we can only do what we can, everything else is out of our control. I am also a believer that we make our own luck, or at least have a role in it. I have to be the one to calm others, usually through talking people through or just by example. I don't have the same 'worry' as others and no matter what I am dealt, I will take the situation I am in at that moment and deal with it right there. I don't dwell on the future, because I spend my time dwelling on how I can mold that future to the extent that I can.
I know, probably not helpful.

Actually... I can't.... uh... certain pathology make me stressful as hell to the point to make me physically sick or having mental breakdowns and is horrible :S
Asmr more-less help me to sleep or just me more calm. Shut me on a rom with headphones to listen to music or watch youtube videos.

Literally, this is me. So much it's almost unreal. I tell people the same thing every day. I honestly wish I wasn't like this. I used to feel so much more alive. But in a way, just rolling with it means nothing can hurt the way that it once did.
Everything just is. Just let it be what it's supposed to be.

Stress! I hope the translation from German into English fits.
I am one of the people who achieve top performance under stress. I have a very structured day, I think there is a little bit of autism in everyone. Even my job as a fireman consists only of stress.
We have a 24-hour service in Vienna at the professional fire brigade, plus free days and vacations. I have about 130 working days of 24 hours a year. I also have 3 children, one of them very autistic.
My stress reliever has been motocross driving.
Man and machine against the motocross track.
Unfortunately my son doesn't give me time for this cushion, so I have been trying a forum operator with a mybb forum for a short time now. What I am very interested in is what you can do, programming, php mysql css, unfortunately I can not do any of it, but try my best and do more. learning by doing, I then spend my time at around 10 p.m. on the PC and look for information tricks and tips for php etc. for beginners

I handle stress a little better than I did in the past and I write my feelings when I am stressed in form of poem.

Not brilliantly .
Though, listening to music does sometimes help. Or going out for walks can too - especially to natural beauty spots .

Its hit or miss with me. Usually miss. XD I get easily stressed and usually get grumpy then.
Stuff I find helps:
Meditating
Breathing exercises
Music
Any form of distraction XD

I either tinker with a project to occupy my thoughts until the stress reduces, soak in a hot tub or hot bath, or blow stuff up in video games

Always convert negative stress into positive and change it into a task

these days I frequently just start fiddling with stuff and tinkering with stuff.
keeps the mind distracted so it can't focus on whatever is wrong...
might mean that when something's wrong I'll go out into the shop and work on something rather than dealing with it later though...
