Another update for just the index page. Note that the background position is fixed and that big-a** white area doesn't happen ubiquitously.

The background image is fixed, but it doesn't stretch vertically so FireShot caused that.

Yeah... I was like "this looks great, but something is kinda off" until I realized the white space was probably not intentional.
 Nice job so far!

Missed the deadline, but pretty close. Hoping to finish it ( w/o color change) this Sunday.

I'm going to be honest, I prefer neither, mostly because it's nice to have a good old text based throwback option for web browsers that support it, after all, why should I waste CPU on graphics if they aren't needed?
Pure Functionality FTW! plus then it looks really nice with my desktop interface lol.
