This is something more SMF related, not sure if you can fix it, but when I type in makestation.net it doesn't show me logged in on the index until I browse to another page, then everything is fine. Happens on SC4Devotion as well, so it may not be you.

I think that's something related to SMF, but I'll check it out and see what's going on there just to see if there is an easy solution to the bug. Thanks for reporting.
