Makestation is, as always, looking for ideas from the community. If you have a neat contest idea and would like some official support from the administration, feel free to post your ideas here!
Even if it's terribly weird, it might (just maybe) be a great way of engaging the community.

A posting contest sounds too generic for me. I like to mix it up into some nasty, disgusting, phallic concoction.
How about trying to not laugh at an insanely funny video?

What do you guys think of running a photography competition? I know I'm a big fan of photography and have a decent library of stuff I could use for my own submissions. We're not a huge community, but if there were a few interested in it, I think we could make it happen.

that sounds good. Just make sure you get enough people involved.
