I've made a few Hearts of Iron mods. Figured I made them, so why not share with Makestation?
Just in case anyone plays:
Russian Empire mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/fi...1286967352
Free American Empire mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/fi...1286871337
Communist States of America: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/fi...1352515604
I figure I will eventually get around to making videos for them. Was considering making some more. These are minor, but I was wanting a massive overhaul.

I've been doing it for years, but mostly on niche strategy games that get no love.,

Still haven't bought it, but I'm sure if I did, I would.
Thought about getting it when it dropped to $15, but I was still busy playing HOI IV.

ah that's too bad, it's really really good .
on the flip side I've not actually gotten HOI IV, was concerned it might be a bit too complex lol.

It is. Only in the beginning though. Once you figure out the mechanics you get the hang of it. Just like any other Paradox game really.

As a fellow EU4 and CK2 enthusiast, I probably play this one more now. CK2 still frequently. Between those, there's no time for EU4 anymore!
Follow it and grab it one it goes on sale. They do frequent sales during holiday periods.

eh, stellaris just got a whole new level of complicated with how they changed up the system in the last update...
Crime lords, managing districts, trade routes.. it's interesting now for sure, but way harder to be a devouring swarm or determined assimilators
also makes managing large numbers of planets way more complicated... though I haven't really tested how the AI governor manages things.
on the other hand there are some really awesome mods out there for it, like the extended megaprojects mod which allows you to build things like matrioska brains and turning stars into death rays that can wipe out an enemy system via wormhole gate.
or the star trek mod... because borg
I'd be happy to run a game sometime if you're interested guardian.

Still haven't bought Stellaris.
With the kid my time is too sporadic, I play 10-15 min at a time as she allows.
