We covered a Rush song a few months back (Red Sector A - a song about the holocaust). It took us quite a while to get everything right. I did the guitars and the vocals, and he did the drums and synthesizers. There's actually no bass in this song, the synthesizers took care of that. 
This was right before I hurt my voice, but I'm slowly getting it back. It took quite a few takes but we were happy with the result.
