The MotoGP class is the highest racing class within the FIM Motorcycle World Championship in street racing. It is also known as the premier class of motorcycle racing. For the 2002 season, the MotoGP replaced the 500 cc class that had existed since 1949 as the highest category in the Motorcycle World Championship.

I've never really gotten into it beyond watching it when its on. Its pretty cool to watch, and I for sure would love to try doing it.

Yes, because of Corona, everything has been canceled so far, and that's why a few Motogp riders drive the virtual races

The plan is for MotoGP to start the 2020 season on July 19. This event corresponds to the Spanish Grand Prix that should have taken place last weekend. A week later, the Andalusia Grand Prix is scheduled to take place at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto. The following week, the Superbike World Championship will take place in Jerez.

"On Thursday morning, the Andalusian government, represented by the Ministry of Tourism, reached an agreement with the Jerez City Council and Dorna to organize two World Cup racing weekends plus a Superbike World Cup weekend on the course in Jerez. These events will take place on July 19th and 26th, "said Juan Marin, Vice-President of the Andalusian Government.
