Memory card mod-modding. - SpookyZalost - June 15th, 2018 I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this sorta thing. a while back I stumbled upon a fairly interesting hardware mod that allows you to plug PS1 memory cards into a computer via the parallel port. now I know that you can mod the parallel port to accept inputs like a joystick... say for Retro console game controllers? but I was wondering if anyone thinks it might be possible to use this PS1 memory card mod and apply it to other sorts of memory cards or possible game carts? here's how the wiring works now I wonder... is it possible to take that and apply it to gamecube, Xbox, PS2 or possibly dreamcast memory cards? here's the thread that goes over it in more detail it's also where I got the diagrams for the RGB cable tutorials I wrote up after making some, sadly a lot of the links are long dead and here's another one with more detail just in case
