[Fiction] The History of Makestation |

Welcome to the history of Makestation. This "history" is not meant to represent the history of Makestation in a completely accurate way, rather as a satire of the real history by spicing it up to look like real history. References to OTL history are marked with a "pseudo-superscript", or something like below:
Quote:The area now known as Makestation(^1)
So here we go, with...
PART ONE - CONQUEST (1248)
The area now known as Makestation(^1) was previously inhabited by pagan Creatic(^2) tribes. However, in Spring 1248, King Blake of Simmania(^3), with an entire demesne's worth of an army, began the 'Crusade of Creatia(^4)' and pushed hard into this area, eventually conquering the entire coast after only a mere month. Following this successful expedition, he proclaimed himself 'Grand Duke of Makestation(^5)'. In the beginning, Makestation was very centralized for a feudal realm, being under the jurisdiction of one ruler and under one title. However, in July, the burden of ruling the pagans was simply too much for the Grand Duke, so he decided to grant the title 'Grand Duke of Makestation' to Link, a powerful noble of Simmania.
References to OTL history:
1: OTL Sweden
2: OTL Finns
3: OTL King of Simmania
4: OTL Second Swedish Crusade
5: Grand Duke of Finland
References to actual Makestation history (Incomplete ATM):
Link, in reality a Moderator, was given this status in early July, after a camping trip of Blake's. This is represented here by simply just giving him the title Grand Duke.

Android vs. iPhone |

Personally, I have to say that I prefer the androids. The iPhones are very nice, but they are also expensive and seem to be less flexible overall than the androids, so I feel like the android is overall a better option.
What is your opinion?

Hello everyone!
I am rather new to web design. I learned HTML & CSS about a year ago or a little more. I didn't really find a use for my knowledge until I found out about mybb! I created my first theme which I've decided not to publish because I felt like it wasn't good enough. Slicon is my second completed theme. It took me several days to complete it, about a week or so. Previews:
Index: http://prntscr.com/1oihmq
Footer: http://prntscr.com/1oihph
What I've done so far:
- Made forum icons.
- Designed and coded most parts of the theme. (Index, forum display, show thread etc..)
- Made CSS/HTML buttons.
- Made CSS/HTML logo.
- Fix bugs.
- Link the copyright somewhere.
What's left to do:
- Complete Show thread.
- Complete profiles.
- Test the theme on all major browsers and several devices.
Any feedback/suggestions, thoughts or concerns about the theme are highly appreciated!
Regards, Damian B.

Is anyone getting a Nexus 4? |

Does anyone have a Nexus 4 smartphone yet? It's a smartphone running on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. A quad-core 1.5GHz CPU powers the device and it has 2GB of RAM. In addition to the above, it has either 8 or 16 GB of internal storage space, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing webcam, and a 4.7-inch True HD display with 768 x 1280 resolution.
What I dislike about the phone is that there is no microSD card slot and you can't remove its battery. A Li-Po 2100 mAh capacity battery isn't bad, but some people might want to buy a better battery to replace it. As for the storage space, 8GB isn't going to get me anywhere. 16GB may also cause problems because I'm the type of guy who likes to stock up on dozens of large games for mobile.
What are your thoughts about the Nexus 4?
