so I'm going to start taking more pictures of places I travel to now that I've got my jeep and such setup to go.

figured I'd share them, it's not much but my moto x4 has a 12mp camera so I get some nice pictures.

I took these on my jeep's Shakedown cruise on monday.

Expect more in the coming weeks because there's a lot of places I really want to go Cool

These are fantastic phones my friend! I absolutely love photography and nature, and these make me a tad bit jealous I'm on the wrong side of the country to visit where you're at...

Keep them coming, look forward to seeing more. Big Grin

maybe I'll see if I can take one on my lunch, the snow is creating very little visibility but that just means an absolutely gorgeous view, there's a lake near my work too which creates some very pretty contrast.

Very nice! Drive safe, around here the whole city practically shuts down even on the sight of snow. (We aren't used to it... haha. Finna )

How long is your commute?

not much to see, a lot of snow and a fairly short visual range, but pretty in it's bleakness I think.

Snow!

I wish it would either snow or be spring. It's just cold here now, with no benefit.

Saw this the other day, was really weird but cool.

I think they're either using heat lamps or Red & Blue LED's, the latter because Red and blue light is more efficient for plants to consume, there was an article on it a couple years back

That's awesome!

I had a small red/blue LED grow light for plants in my basement. They still sought light and got spindly. I also expect I didn't have enough of the lights.

That is probable Guardian, luckily LED matrices are easy and cheap to construct lol.

so I was out playing ingress and I decided to take pictures as I captured portals.

I don't have much experience with night time photography but here are some of the nicer ones that came out with my phone's camera.

unfortunately the majority came out kinda blury, looks like for night shots the best setting is to not zoom in at all, and set the focus to infinity, let auto handle the rest.

this whole area though is filled with nearly 100 portals, in some places I can interact with up to 5 at once, it's crazy.

and wandering through the alley ways searching for virtual objects overlayed on realspace... that just seems really cyberpunk lol.
