• Is Makestation Private Image Hosting (MS members for makestation use only!) really free?
• Yes! This service is a perk for Makestation members (for MS use only), offering an alternative, simplistic host with minimal restrictions. There is no image limit in place, and you may upload as many as you would like.
• Which types of image can I upload?
• You can upload images with the following extensions: PNG, JPG, GIF.
• Can I upload big images?
• Yes! You can upload any image up to 5MB in size.
• Will you delete my image after X days?
• Nope. We will only delete your image if it is against our terms & conditions.
• Are my images resized when I upload them?
• Nope! Your files are never re-encoded. The quality of your images will be preserved when uploaded. (Not all image hosts can claim this!)
• Is this service for Makestation members exclusively?
• Yes. We cannot host images beyond our scope as a community.
• I have an image hosted here that I want to link to on another community/forum. Is this acceptable?
• Use your discretion. Occasionally linking to images on other communities will not overload our servers, but please do not abuse this. Image hosting has a reputation for being extremely bandwidth-intensive, and we do not have unlimited bandwidth. Use sensibly, and we will have more than enough resources to share! :)
• Can people browse through uploaded images?
• Nope. Every upload is given a random, non-sequential ID!
