Hackers hack external antennas onto Pi zero 2 w

So for whatever reason the team behind the raspberry pi continues to make everything on the board integrated leaving little room for tinkering, this is doubly so for stuff like the onboard wifi chipset.

interestingly though the wifi antennas built into the circuit board leave a connector point for an external antenna connector like you'd see on laptops and certain routers.

it's still not an approved mod (because who wants to stick to the approved list right?), but it's a cool one nonetheless.

now if only there was a way to implement an onboard GPS and various other sensors without tapping the GPIO pins...
