Process in Germany: does Tesla promise too much?

#1
According to a court ruling, Tesla has taken it too hard to advertise its cars. The Munich I Regional Court banned the California company on Tuesday from using the term “autopilot” to advertise its vehicles.

They do. They're trying to drive interest and generate buzz, but a problem is they get ahead of themselves when it comes to production lines. It's just excessive marketing, other companies do it as well, but we're immune to it now. New things like "autopilot," well, people are dumb and really think they don't have to do anything. Tongue Planes have had "autopilot" for years and there's been no issue because pilots are trained on the systems. Also, autopilot maintaining course in the sky is more like cruise control, there's no detection going on.
