It'd be cool to have a live chat window somewhere on here (if possible)

That is a good suggestion. A live chat has been considered, but so far it has been difficult to find a solution that would be worthwhile, and that wouldn't overload the server.
I should be able to get our old "shoutbox" working again for the next theme update that's coming in a few days though. As long as there aren't any new unexpected technical difficulties, we should have no issues bringing it back.

The shoutbox has now been implemented, along with the new theme update. Thanks for the suggestion.
