Music Thread - That Punk Guy - May 26th, 2013

Everyone loves music, what kind do you like? How do you get your music?

I like rock, pop, and some rap. I use a service called Rdio ( http://rdio.com ) for my music. It was created by Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis, the guys behind Skype. You get 10 hours of music a month for free, but if you would like no ads and access from your mobile phone/tablet, it's $9.99 a month with no song purchasing fees. I use it mainly because I cannot afford 99 cents a pop but $10 I can do.

Seems like a pretty nice deal.

Classic rock and ballads have to be my favorite, but lately a lot of techno-like styles have grabbed my attention. I love a wide variety of styles, honestly. A world without music would be a sad place I'd have to say. Tongue

Switched back to Spotify cause they have a lot of music that other services didn't have that I like (mostly independent artists that only stream on Spotify).

Listening to:
Beautiful by Snoop Dogg ft. Pharrell (which doesn't have as bad lyrics as most Snoop songs lol)

Oh and I love Pharrell, mostly cause he's part of the Neptunes, which produced mostly half of the hit pop/rap songs from 2000 to 2005. He also is in a band called N.E.R.D. which is pretty awesome too. Big Grin
