The main problem I have is that here in the US, we don't have a choice because we're not told whether the food we're eating's been genetically modified. The europeans are way ahead of us on this issue. I don't get why Californians didn't pass the ballot measure to label GM foods. I wouldn't really mind eating certain GM foods if I was at least told that they were genetically modified. The fact that there is no easy way to even tell is a bit of an issue for sure. |
