Also the ability to change their angles is a plus. I am looking at getting a 4K monitor which will probably mean I will have to go down to 1 screen due to limited funds. Tongue

I prefer a wider screen, as it takes up less space (generally) compared to two screens. Having to use one HDMI or DP cable also helps in cable management. I also game, so having a bezel in the middle of the screen won't help me win any games :p

In Windows 7 and above, we can already tile the windows by pressing [WIN] + [LEFT] or [RIGHT] so it solves that issue for me.

That being said, having a rotated screen to code on is really nice.

RE: Show us your desktop! - SpookyZalost - July 17th, 2018

see I have multiple screens with various adaptors because I've gathered a lot of recycled monitors that I've either fixed up or rescued that were perfectly good, though most of them are in storage atm due to space issues I'm looking into some bracket mounts for VESA stuff and may be expanding my screen space soon, right now I use dual monitors for a reason.
for recording videos or streaming it's nice to be able to have the recording software on one screen and the game on the other.
also I can toggle the secondary screen to a system I'm troubleshooting while being able to look at technical documents on my main which is nice.

dual screens have their uses lol.
