WordPress - simlink - August 14th, 2013 Anyone here have a WordPress site/blog? I just started one for my community. I must say, I love how easy to use it is. It's nice once in a while to focus on content instead of design and coding. It makes that very easy. Althought I'm using the more limited wordpress.com - it's still great. What do you think of WordPress? RE: WordPress - Darth-Apple - August 14th, 2013 I was actually not really a supporter of it until I decided to start the Makestation blog. I do have to say, I have been quite impressed with its flexibility. I'm used to setting this up with Drupal, and I will say it is shocking how much easier Wordpress is, haha. RE: WordPress - Teg - August 14th, 2013 My personal portfolio (http://amandamontagu.com) is designed and coded for wordpress. It's a wordpress theme. I love designing those. I'm actually considering designing a wordpress theme that looks a lot like the forum theme used here, but time is also an issue for me lately. Anyway, it's impressive what you're able to do in the world of theming. I have to say, you have come up with some pretty great designs. RE: WordPress - simlink - August 14th, 2013 Wow Teg, that's awesome! RE: WordPress - Teg - August 14th, 2013 Thanks both of you, I've been doing this since I was about 12, i can do goofy stuff and professional stuff. As for Wordpress theme designing, it's pretty simple if you can nail the coding a lot of it is css. |
