I don't particularly love the GIMP, but it's the most powerful tool out there that's free, so that's what I generally use.

I like Photoshop.. yes.. there are free alternatives but they annoy the heck out of me

I use GIMP because it's free.

Mainly I use Photoshop. I started when I was around 12. I found all kinds of tutorials for the program and taught myself how to use it. I absolutely love it.
