Password manager - Acko - July 22nd, 2013

Since the UbuntuForums got hacked, I have since changed ALL of my passwords to something less guessable. Even though the passwords are indeed encrypted, if you include common words in a password, they are vulnerable to easy guessing. On top of that, instead of storing my passwords in the browser, I am now using a password manager called KeePass which stores your passwords in an encrypted database. You need to know the master password to get in there. Although this isn't that intuitive, I'd just like to point out that I do recommend using password managers instead of your browsers to store passwords. (Especially for banking, etc.). And that your passwords should be NEVER too guessable. (I have gone to the point where I even include cyrillic characters in my passwords Tongue)

I should probably get a password manager myself. I'm really bad about forgetting passwords, so it'd be helpful for sure. Tongue
