ROAD TRIPS - TRUE LIBERTY - April 27th, 2014 My wife has been visiting her family for two weeks. So I decided to do a few road trips these last two weekends during that time while she was away and take a few photos. RE: ROAD TRIPS - Darth-Apple - April 27th, 2014 Very nice! I love the scenic/urban shots. I'm very much a scenic photographer, so those appeal well with my tastes. I love how you included some waterfronts and narrower scenic alleyways as well. The viewing angles are great as well. What camera are you using? RE: ROAD TRIPS - TRUE LIBERTY - April 27th, 2014 (April 27th, 2014 at 3:29 PM)Darth-Apple Wrote: Very nice! Mostly my new Olympus EM1. And I got nostalgic and took out my first DSLR ancient Panasonic L1 for a couple of the shots I shared. When I got the EM1 Micro 4/3 camera they had a deal going you get the waterproof adapter so I can fully use all my 4/3 lenses. They focus faster on EM1 then they do with my Olympus E30. One of my 4/3 lenses is water proof so with the adapter and camera also being water proof it can be fun to take pictures in the rain. But most of these shots was taken with my new M4/3 50mm equivalent lens. It almost never get removed from my camera. RE: ROAD TRIPS - Darth-Apple - April 28th, 2014 Ah, nice. The clarity of those photos is great, so it seems that you've done a good job with the focus controls and all that. I don't really have the benefit of a lens to work with, which makes zoom difficult. As for the color balance and brightness, all of that can be edited later, but poor zoom is the big disadvantage I have with my camera with it not having a real lens. What lens are you using? Or do you have a camera with a fixed lens? RE: ROAD TRIPS - Acko - May 6th, 2014 Great pics. Where were these taken?
