That's actually a full weather extension for gnome that shows the three day forecast, highs, lows, air pressure, condition of the skies, etc... It's pretty neat. Big Grin

Reinstalled, gone to a more bare look once more. I think I prefer a somewhat blank desktop, makes my computer feel less cluttered. Tongue

Experimenting with MATE. Not sure I love how I've configured it, but it certainly feels a lot more complete than GNOME 3 does. Big Grin

this is my laptop's desktop, it's running crunchbang linux with an openbox window manager and the graphics are a combination of conky and Tint2.

it looks like one of those huge ceiling scoreboard box things you see in NBA basketball games..

Mate Combined with compiz and conky, I think it looks very advanced  Big Grin

BTW, I can use the keboard in combo with my touch screen on it, so CTRL+ALT+Swipe if I want to change Virtual Desktops.
Yeah I like the cube-based switcher! It's a nice touch.
indeed, I like it, now if only I could get VR to work in linux I'd be in heaven...
