Personally, I don't like my schedule getting off course, but other than that, I love traveling. It's a great way to get out and escape the ordinary stresses of daily life.

I like road trips a lot, but with how highly priced gas is, it's not much of an option anymore :/
I love travelling. Flying is the best. Though roadtrips to places within a few hours is nice.
I love road trips, ESPECIALLY long ones. Though the trip shouldn't extend longer than 9 or 10 hours driving for me, past that you start getting stir-crazy and when you get out of the car you feel dizzy, shaky, and generally bad.
Yeah, 10 hours starts to get stale. And of course comes the occasional stretch, don't want to get clots, do ya?
You don't want to take it too slow. Also, it's best to take the faster route instead of the easier route. It's possible from Dallas to Denver in only 11 hours instead of the usual 16-17 that it takes most people.
Also, breaks. Unless you're in a hurry, take those about every 100 miles.
I especially love lunch and dinner breaks on the road. Nothing beats some old classic southern BBQ or a nice medium-well grilled burger at a nice, independently owned restaurant.
Making people hungry is what you do best isn't it?
