Sweet! What made you go with the name Winter Bear?
It's my favorite song by Kim Tae-hyung aka V from BTS who are my favorite K-Pop group. V released the song back in August of 2019 and it's completely in English which he wrote himself and that is a big accomplish for someone that English isn't their first language. I like the name of the song so much that I got thinking it would make a really cool username for forums and I add the bears on either end of it to give it a cuter look.
I don't really have an answer for that since everyone has own opinions about which bear are the best so I don't want to single one for fear that offends someone else.
I'm sure your answer doesn't offend anyone else... What is the best bear?
My opinion would polar bears since they are my favorite.

I like them both but if I had choose just one I would choose Yuki No Kuma. I actually use to the username Ai No Kuma.
as a winter bear do you prefer the arctic, antarctic, or somewhere high altitude like the alps, Himalayas, etc?
I just prefer that cold where I live because it would be way too cold in arctic, antarctic, the alps, himalayas or etc for me.
Would you choose the beach or the mountains?
I would choose the beach because it's so peacefully watching the water.

No, I am not afraid of heights but I am afraid of space when I am high so I am not really sure what that is called.
