Heres a fun thread- we'll look at our government at work with stupid laws from around the world.

Colorado law states:
One may not mutilate a rock in a state park.
And you can get a DUI on a horse:
It is illegal to ride a horse while under the influence.
Nice thread.

There are definitely quite a few outdated laws in the world today. There is a law in one state where it is illegal to throw a live moose out of an airplane in flight. Apparently people had problems with that one. Tongue
I think in some US State it is illegal to commit murder...

...with a bulletproof vest on!
LOL, that one is hilarious.
I've heard of one where horse thieves may legally be hung without any form of trial or court hearing, or anything. Tongue
"It is illegal to wear a fake moustache that causes laughter in church."
"Putting salt on a railroad track may be punishable by death."
"It is illegal to have a sheep in the cab of your truck without a chaperone."
"It is illegal to use speed-dial in the city phone system." (a city in montana)
"Worrying squirrels will not be tolerated."
"It’s against the law to sing off key." (my home state)
Hehe.... I wonder what salt on railroad tracks would actually do to harm anything Tongue
I'm wondering the same thing. I guess it could wear out the tracks, but why is it punishable by death?. :/
