That 'iffy' period was miserable. I ended up dumping it, it became virtually unusable for me. After so long on Chrome, I finally tried Firefox after they threw out the old version and have now fully switched back.

Chrome. I started using Firefox in 2005, then switched to Chrome in 2009, because it was faster and crashed less.

Since then, I've tried Firefox several times, but it's never given me a compelling reason to switch back.
