So today I passed the first of the two a+ certification exams, and it was definitely the harder of the two if the practice tests were anything to go by.

I'm going to sign up to take the second one after I get paid again.

After that, I've no idea.

What's that got to do with "living Cyberpunk"? lol
@zoldos that's just the title of my miniblog here on makestation...

Besides, being certified means I get paid more by corps to do jobs.

As a techie being paid more means more money to put towards stuff like cyberdecks, ice breakers, etc etc.

And you need the a+ along with the security+ certs to do stuff like penetration testing which is very much a cyberpunk job. Basically Mr robot but for hire to test corpo security.

hahaha My bad.  I've never gotten into anything like that. I'm a coder. Smile
so I nearly landed an entry level job at a cybersec firm today, but they had some shakeup with their senior management so the interview got cancelled.

not sure if I'll hear back from them but it would have been nice to start earning $21 an hour and after 9 months it was going to be $50K+ salaried.

ah well... on to the next one.
