Personally, considering my internet download speeds are rarely above 1mbps, I can't say that I'm too pleased with my internet service. It never really blacks out completely, and it's faster than dial-up, so I'll rate it 2/5 stars.

How would you rate your ISP?
I'd rate mine 3/5. It's very slow, but, well, I don't pay for fast speeds so Tongue
I'd rate mine 1/5 not for it's slowness since that's our plan, but for it cutting out all the time.
Constant blackouts are the worst when it comes to internet. I have incredibly slow internet, but it at least stays on all the time. That's gotta be annoying.
I'm sorry to rain in or your parade, but:

(It's not that good, really)
I rate mine 4/5
FiOS is probably one of the few good ISPs out there. Unfortunately it's not available in my area. Sad
Do you have comcast? Because comcast (for some reason the DOJ lets this happen) likes to keep other cable companies out of rural areas. I think they should become another Standard Oil.
I had comcast at one point, but even they aren't available in my area. I'm on time warner cable. Comcast wasn't much better.
Comcast, other than their terrible internet speeds, has terrible customer service. But the guy who installed my cable back in TN was a really nice guy.
Their customer service is probably the worst part. I've had internet cut off for the strangest reasons from them, and they are simply hard to work with all around.
I can't wait for Google to stop turtling in KC. I want google fiber real bad now.
1GBPS would be pretty awesome.
I think if the speeds were as promised, I'd give it 10/5 lol
I would too. No doubt there.
And with a capable computer, I'd easily be able to host a minecraft server
Too bad minecraft servers are so RAM intensive. That makes them expensive to host if you use a real VPS for them.
Though to me, it seems google's position on that is a bit vague
Mine is meh - they have constant outages and speed is average. Service is like talking to a brick wall (and no, it isn't outsourced. Their customer service is local. They just aren't helpful... usually. Sometimes they're okay.)
